Magnets: Another Ultimate Alternative

The buzz about electric cars is unwarranted at this point. Electric cars still require the electricity to be created and the creation process produces emissions. And what to do about the batteries?

Here is the most revolutionary idea I have seen in a long while. Why bother with battery cars? Magnetism can run a car. Granted a battery is used to run the blower and the radio, and to get the thing started but the idea is revolutionary and extraordinary. Watch the video. Be amazed.

Air: The Ultimate Alternative

Diesel, biofuel, gasoline and any other combustion fuel pollutes at some point. Cooking oil vehicles too. What about another alternative for those who insist that everyone needs a car?

Alternative Fuels Are Not the Solution

The discussion on biofuels has cooled off a bit in the last while; Likely due to the hubbub about the US election. But the search for alternatives fuel sources is a red herring.

Replacing one fuel for another fuel does not solve all of our problems. The impending problems include global warming or climate change, and the depletion of non-renewable fuel sources. These two problems could partially be solved through adoption of other fuel sources.

Renewable sources of fuel will solve the depletion problem and may solve the climate change issue. But even renewable sources, no matter how clean, will have output which is not clean. Contaminants are created either through the production of these alternatives or through their use. At some point this might be reduced, but it is, at present, unlikely that it will be clean enough to consider it as a clean and safe alternative. Batteries and nuclear leftovers need to be dealt with eventually.

The problem with our fuel consumption is not necessary what we are consuming but, rather, how much we are consuming. Further, it is not how much we are consuming but the fact that we are consuming.

The question which should be discussed and highlighted is not what we are using as fuel. We should be spending money, time and research investigating new ways to do the things we want to do.

We want to travel. We want to have lights, heat, food, recreation, and so on.

We don’t need to replace our fuel, we need to replace our dependence on fuel in general. We need to find ways to use our own energy to get around. We need to find ways to produce goods which use less power. Much less.

The problem is that we need to admit that we have a problem. We insist on living the life we want without curbing our own desires. We need to realize that a large part of our problem is not what we use, but it is us.

If you are not part of the solution, you are part of the precipitate.

Liberals: the definition of meaningless

Put them out of their misery. The Liberal Party of Canada should disband. They are useless, ineffective, and are hurting Canada.

The Liberals are liberal in name only. The could be called “The Not Conservative Party of Canada” or something else as useless and lame.

There is no need for the Liberals to exist. If Canadians want to pay someone to not do their job, I would be willing to do it for half the price they are paying Dion.

A while ago I suggested that the Liberals would need to get busy and make a name for themselves in order to actually be able to win some votes. I don’t think it is now possible to come out of this rut.

I grew up in the country. If an animal was hurt and dying it was better to put it out of its misery than let it suffer.

I also have aunts who are nurses. If a person is in a persistent vegetative state, it is better to let them to pass on than to keep them here for our own purposes.

We do not need the Liberals. The only reason to keep them is to balance out the name spectrum (Liberal v. Conservative). But that is not even a real reason.

But, i fear, the Liberals will remain a party and this circus of idiotolatry will continue. This is because a pathetic leader can still have pathetic sheep.
