If attractive women riding scooters (especially Vespas) does not amplify the appeal, maybe someone a little more macho, rustic and curiously handsome might.
From what I understand, John Wayne (after a short cruise on this Vespa) wished he could re-do his entire career on one. This is especially true considering the steep decline in popularity that western flicks had to endure.
At any rate, John Wayne makes a Vespa look rugged, and very manly. While Hillary Duff makes them look sweet and innocent, and Nicole Kidman adds the sex-appeal.
Audrey Hepburn, on the other hand, drives me insane.
